About
The first UK show that I fell in love with was Monty Python’s Flying Circus. Then Fawlty Towers, The Good Life, To the Manor Born, Yes, Minister…pretty much anything I could watch on PBS at the time.
Now that BBC America is widely available across the US, we have access to many more great TV shows from across the pond. But there are still many, many others not seen on BBC America that are well worth your time. Thankfully, most of them have been released on Region 1 DVD (formatted to play on US televisions).
Sadly, not all seasons of all shows are available on DVD or via streaming media in the states, but slowly they’re becoming so. Maybe by promoting these shows through this blog, we can let everyone know across the pond how much we love British TV shows and want to see more.

Thank you so much. That is so wonderful of you. I really, really appreciate that. Thanks for being a fan!!
I completly agree.Theer are a lot of very good UK TV shows which are worth watching. For I’m german it is quite worse for me because we don’t even have a TV station which shows them in the original version but translated into german (which is usually horrible and doesn’t help to improve my english). So I have to watch what is youtube (or something like that) or buy DVDs. But it’s worth it.
So thank you for showing me a lot of shows I didn’nt know yet. I hope I’m able to watch some of them sometime.
I’m so glad you’re learning about new shows to check out. Thanks so much for reading!!
